Frequently asked questions.

We are Pine Hill residents who teamed up to improve our town.
-
Our mission is to restore a historic, cornerstone property to its former glory (and beyond!) for the benefit of our small town. We raised funds and purchased the building in 2022. The next step is to restore the Wellington inside and out.
-
The best way to start is by signing up for our email list because our needs change all the time. That said, we’re totally community driven and open to any advice or skills you have to offer – if you have relevant experience in restoration, fundraising, marketing, or anything else, we would love to hear from you! We also regularly have events like community clean up days where we need extra hands and we often have special projects that we’re happy to hand out if you have a lot of time on your hands. If you’re interested in supporting this project financially, please reach out as well.

We formed a limited liability corporation called Wellington Blueberry, LLC after two names that were given to 310 Main Street early and late in its history.

On the first floor, a breakfast and lunch cafe will serve locals and visitors. There will also be a food market with meat, dairy, produce, and baked goods from local farmers and artisans. Upstairs will be a mix of hostel-style accommodations for seasonal workers and hikers, as well as larger rentals for vacationing families or small groups who need more space. Affordable housing will be provided on site for Wellington staff. And the half acre grounds will be cleaned up and available for public and private events.

We estimate that the cost will be approximately $3 million all-in.
